Introduction
This Privacy Policy describes how LTR Dev ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Later Notes mobile application ("App"). By using the App, you acknowledge you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.
Our Privacy Manifesto
- Data Sovereignty: Your data belongs to you. We do not have a server, and we cannot "see" your notes.
- Local-First: Everything is stored locally on your device by default.
- Cloud Choice: Optional backups are stored in your own Google Drive account using the restricted AppData scope.
- Zero Surveillance: No third-party analytics (like Firebase Analytics or Facebook) are present in the app.
Information We Collect
Later Notes collects the following categories of information:
- User Content: Any content you create (including notes, attachments, and tags). This stays on your device.
- Preferences: App settings like themes and text size.
- Contact Info: Information you voluntarily provide if you email our support.
How Data Is Used
Data stored locally is used solely to provide the App's core functionality. No information is harvested or transmitted to developer-controlled servers.
Cloud Backup (Google Drive)
When you enable backups, the App compiles your local notes and media into a secure archive and uploads them directly to your personal Google Drive. We do not have access to these files; they are stored in a private area accessible only by this application.
Your Rights
Because the App stores your content locally and uses optional Google Drive backups under your direct control, most privacy management utilities are already in your hands. You can delete your local data by clearing app storage and delete your cloud data via the app settings or your Google Account.
